Prints Charming

Once upon a time, a princess (Grace of Monaco, to be exact) visited Gucci in Milan. Her gracious host, Rodolfo Gucci, offered her a scarf as a gift, but none, he felt, was special enough for his dignified guest. Instead, he commissioned renowned illustrator Vittorio Accornero to design a beautiful floral scarf fit for a princess. The result: the Flora, which has become a favorite print among European women and royalty alike, even 40 years after it was first imagined. How we love a good happy ending.
